Scattered showers are popping up across the region this morning. Temperatures are warm as a cold front sits just off to the west.

Rain will become more widespread and pick up in intensity throughout the day as the cold front slowly moves through. Temperatures will peak around 60 in the morning are drop to the upper 30s and lower 40s by the evening.

A Winter Storm Warning goes into effect at 6:00 p.m. for Brown Co., Ks, as well as Atchison Co., Mo. A Freezing Rain Advisory will go into effect at 9:00 p.m. for counties north and west of St. Joe. Ice accumulation could total .10"-.25" through the the night into Friday morning in the advised areas. Expecting little accumulation in St. Joseph.

Lows bottom out around 30 by Friday morning. There is a chance for rain and freezing drizzle on Friday as highs only reach the low to mid 30s. Winds will gust out of the north up to 25 miles per hour.
