( ST. JOSEPH, MO. ) Friday begins with temperatures in the mid 60s. With clouds still around and light winds, there could be some patchy fog until about 8am. The afternoon will remain mostly cloudy and temperatures will only get up to the lower 80s as winds blow out of the northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. There will be a small disturbance that will move into the region which has a slight chance of producing a few showers or storms. The slight chance for precipitation continues tonight, but most areas should remain dry. Winds will be out of the east northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Saturday will be the best day of the weekend in terms of staying dry and pleasant afternoon highs. Partly sunny skies are expected while temperatures reach the low to mid 80s.
